Why We Built This Site
Georgia gives the public broad access to many government records through the Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. 50-18-70 et seq., but court access still depends on the office that created or keeps the record. In Colquitt County, the Clerk of Superior, State & Juvenile Court manages Superior, State, and Juvenile Court records from the courthouse in downtown Moultrie. Probate Court handles estate, guardianship, marriage-license, certified marriage certificate, and weapons carry license channels. Magistrate Court handles small claims, dispossessory matters, garnishments, bail, pre-warrant hearings, and warrant functions. The Sheriff's Office handles jail and sheriff-administrative information from its Veterans Parkway office.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to any Georgia court, Colquitt County office, clerk's office, sheriff's office, municipal court, or state agency. There are real limits to what a private reference site can do:
- We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When one of those tools leads to a paid signup, this site may earn a referral fee. Those tools are not official Colquitt County, Georgia court portals, and their results are not certified court records. Official copies must come from the Clerk, Probate Court, Magistrate Court, Sheriff's Office, municipal court, Georgia agency, or other custodian that maintains the original record.
